In 2026, our 'Sponsor a Chorister' fund will support the weekly musical education of our choristers and allow us to subsidise day and residential Cathedral trips for the children and young people in our choir community. Across the week more than 60 children and young people sing in the choirs of St Wulfram's with most of our children and Young People having access to 6-12 hours a of music teaching and activity for free each week. 

Our ongoing fundraising throughout the year also allows us to subsidise week long residencies and day trips, singing in Cathedrals and provides equal access for longer stays. This summer, the choir will be in residency at Ely Cathedral, singing daily services.

The actual cost of a day trip (because of increased travel costs) if usually around £40 and a weekend trip around £650. 

Alongside other fundraising events this year, we are again setting up a 'sponsor a chorister' fund to support the children and young people of the choirs, to enable subsidised places for choristers and youth choir members to access these incredible musical experiences.
