Church Electoral Roll

The Church Electoral Roll is the basic list in every parish of all those entitled to vote on elections within the Church of England. Those entitled to have their names on this roll must be 16 years of age or more and they must reside in the relevant parish or be regular worshippers in church whose roll they wish to join. The roll is completely renewed every six years, the next time this occurs is 2025, at which point all members must re-apply for membership or else their names will be deleted. By this means, the continuing validity of the roll is maintained.

Joining the Electoral Roll opens the way for greater involvement in the life of your Church, at deanery, diocesan and national levels as well as being entitled to vote at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting. With your name on the Electoral Roll, the strength of the Church can be seen in your area and across the county.

If you want to be on the Electoral Roll for St Wulfram’s Church, please complete for form below. The next APCM (Annual Parochial Church Meeting) will take place on at 11:00am on Sunday, 12 May 2024. If you think you might be interested in standing for election to the PCC on that occasion or to vote at the meeting, you will have had to have been on the Electoral Roll for at least six months beforehand (ie by 11 November 2023).

Joining now will enable a member to stand for election at the APCM on Sunday 12 May 2024.
